Thank Blue

We got Erik and Sophie's thank you today for their shower gift! They enjoyed getting the waffle maker as well as the waffle mix and syrup we got to go with it. (Gingerbread waffles with a cranberry holiday syrup.) I'm glad they liked the gift and hope that they get a lot of use out of it!

Blue Bouquet

We received Erik and Sophie's invitation today! It's very cute and is part of the same matching set as their save the date. Their wedding is June 7 at OceanCliff, a resort in Newport, Rhode Island. Matt and I are going to be staying the weekend, from Saturday to Sunday, in a bed and breakfast that we'll be using one of our wedding gifts for. My parents will probably be coming to our place to watch Anthony so that we spend the weekend by ourselves. (Since it's so close to our anniversary, that will probably be our celebration weekend.)

Sea of Love

My dear friend, Michelle, whom I have known for several years is now engaged! Her boyfriend, Adam, proposed today and of course she said yes! Michelle and I worked together at the Gap near where we are both from. She is best friends with one of my best friends and bridesmaids, Jess, as well. I'm so excited for her and Adam! There probably won't be many more updates for a while, though, since they are planning on waiting until Adam is out of the Navy and isn't at risk of being deployed.
